Rescue Dog of the Week: Mikki, the Chihuahua Mix

Meet Mikki, a homeless pup who landed in Culver City.

Mikki is a just under 1-year-old female Chihuahua/Shiba Inu mix with a sweet spirit and quiet disposition. Though slightly shy at first, she will warm quickly to new owners; she is already very comfortable with her foster mom and kennel mates. She will do well in a home with other pets and older children. Mikki is spayed and vaccinated, as well as crate trained. She is looking for a foster home, or ideally, a forever home.

Mary's Little Lambs Animal Rescue is made up of a small group of individuals who rescue stray dogs and cats from the streets of Los Angeles and Culver City, and also bail them out of "death row" at the city shelters in order to find them good and loving homes. Their mission is simply to provide a needed service to all animals, large and small.

Mary's Little Lambs Animal Rescue holds weekly adoptions on Saturdays, 11 p.m.-4 p.m. at the Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies located at 5299 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City, CA 90230.
