Make a Beautiful Sculpture, Keep the Kids Busy

Join a sculpture class with fellow creative minds, send the kids to gymnastics classes, and other Tuesday kick-starts.

1)  Send the kids to Winter Camp at the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics. With daily fun including gymnastics, martial arts, hip hop dance, crafts and many options, the Winter camp is continuing through January 7. For $60 for a full day (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.), and $50 for a half day (9 a.m. to noon), don't let the kids be bored this holiday break. For more information, call 310-204-1980. Los Angeles School of Gymnastics, 8450 Higuera St.; 310-204-1980

2) Unwind mid-morning with a Tuesday Clay Sculpture class at 10 a.m. with instructor Vladimir Goryachev. Whether beginner or advanced, create a sculpture from scratch in a fun environment at the Teale Street Sculpture Studio and Gallery. For more information, go to the studio's site. Teale Street Sculpture Studio and Gallery, 11847 Teale St.
