Culver City Adult School

The Culver City Adult School, part of the Culver City Unified School District, offers classes for adults and high schoolMore students. Courses include visual and performing arts, sewing, physical fitness, sports, languages, ESL, driver's education, computer education, citizenship, technical education and basic education. An older adults program is also available in order to help maintain the mental and physical fitness of seniors, and during the summer, the school offers classes for kids. Registration can be done online or in person at the main office.

El Rincon Elementary School, "Home of the Cougars", is a K-5th public school, part of the Culver City Unified SchoolMore District.  Located where Sawtelle Blvd. runs into Overland Ave., El Rincon has a special focus on science.  The school has undergone some recent improvements, adding a computer lab and renovating the library.  Reginald Brunson, El Rincon's principal, takes pride in the school's unique Science Discovery and Learning Laboratory as an opportunity to be a leading school in science.

Recently, La Ballona added an optional Dual Language Program in Spanish. The school offers many enrichment programs, including Actors' Gang, Los Angeles Music Center Artists in Residence, Accelerated Reader, 5th Grade ballroom dancing and Peace Makers. La Ballona also has an active PTA and Booster Club.
El Marino Language School

El Marino Language School houses the Culver City Unified School District's two elementary school Language ImmersionMore programs, the Spanish Immersion Program [SIP] and the Japanese Immersion Program [JIP]. The goal of both programs is for students to master their academic content while learning to speak, understand, read and write in both English and the target language – Spanish or Japanese.  Students also have the opportunity to participate in many activities that will increase the experience of learning their target language, including Art Odyssey instruction, artists-in-residency, Japanese Taiko drumming and Spanish Flamenco dancing. Because of its unique curriculum, El Marino received the 2008 California Distinguished School honor.
