Essential Chocolate Desserts

Essential Chocolate Desserts began as a bakery that sold goods to local restaurants and shops; about seven years ago they opened a retail store on Washington Boulevard. The store sells baked goods like muffins and scones, but is especially known for desserts, which include gourmet cakes, pies, cupcakes and cookies. The shop also sells coffee, hot chocolate and tea. There is an adjacent room where customers can sit down and read the paper, eat their dessert and enjoy a cup of coffee.
