The Culver City Symphony Orchestra is an orchestra that has been based in Culver City since 2000.  The orchestra was founded in 1963 in the Los Angeles suburb of Westchester by George Berres, a noted violinst and composer. The orchestra performs throughout Southern California, presenting concert performances of operas and sponsors the Parness Young Artists Concerto Competition. The Culver City Symphony Orchestra is made up of local musicians, teachers, freelance artists and studio musicians, performing under Conductor Frank Fetta.
