<p>Culver City High School is a college-oriented high school with just more than 2,200 students. The average class size is 33 to 38 students.</p>
<p>Dedicated to a clear academic plan, CCHS offers courses in english, mathematics, modern language, physical education, science and social studies, as well as vocational education. </p> <p>Culver City High School also offers The Academy of Visual and Performing Arts.  AVPA is a four-year program that incorporates intensive studies in Visual Arts, Film & Video Production, Theatre and Music.  Students take advanced level classes after school, many for college credit, in their major.  The courses combined with a rigorous production schedule provide a balance between hands-on and academic training.  Students get a chance to practice their craft alongside motivated and talented peers and qualified professional teachers, designers, directors, actors, musicians and artists.  Visit AVPA's website: <a href="http://www.avpa.org/">www.avpa.org</a></p>
