<p>The American Legion is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization chartered by the United States Congress in 1919 as a veteran's service organization devoted to the needs of service members and veterans. The goals of the organization include engaging the community's youth in special programs, advocating patriotism and promoting national security.</p> <p>This American Legion Post is available to rent for events and meetings by the local community, and can provide food, drink, tables, chairs and kitchen facilities. With a maximum capacity of 250, the hall can be used for weddings, receptions, funerals, baptisms, confirmations, Girl & Boy Scout meetings and other private events.</p>
