Monday Essentials: City Council Meeting, Shakespeare and Superheroes, Final Music Festival Concert and More
Here are five things to know in and around Culver City for the upcoming week.
1. The Culver City City Council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. in the Mike Balkman Chambers at City Hall – 9770 Culver Blvd. Increased parking meter fees will be on the agenda. Read the full agenda here.
2. The final free outdoor Summer Music Festival in the courtyard at City Hall takes place this Thursday at 7 p.m. The evening’s entertainment will be provided by Premier Led Zeppelin tribute band Led Zepagain. Read more about the band here.
3. The Actors’ Gang Annual Free Family Shakespeare in the Park - Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night: The Superhero Edition takes place every Saturday and Sunday in August at 11 a.m. in Media Park. 4. After a Manhattan Beach resident was badly beaten on the Ballona Creek Bike Path on July 19, concerned residents have created a petition calling on the Culver City City Council to implement greater safety measures. Follow this link and sign the petition to help keep the Ballona Creek Path safe.
