'Midnight in Paris' Song Composer Headlines Second Culver City Boulevard Music Concert Tonight

The festival presents Gypsy Jazz with Stephane Wrembel and his band as part of Culver City's Boulevard Music Festival in the courtyard at City Hall.

The second in this year’s series of four free Thursday night concerts as part of the Culver City Boulevard Music Festival takes place tonight at 7 p.m. in the courtyard at City Hall.

Tonight, the festival presents Gypsy Jazz with Stephane Wrembel and his band.

According to a release from festival organizer Gary Mandell, the French-born Wrembel who is both a composer and guitarist, scored a number one hit with his song "Bistro Fada," which he composed for Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris, and the soundtrack was top of the iTunes soundtrack charts for three weeks and has remained in the top 25 iTunes soundtrack charts for four months.

Recently, Stephane played live during the 2012 Academy Awards and performed along with Pharrell and Esperanza Spaulding among others as part of the All-Star Band. Stephane has also released four critically acclaimed albums including one with the legendary David Grisman and has toured nationally with Mark O'Conner. Stephane will be touring behind his new album, Origins.

Dozens of restaurants, as well as galleries and boutiques are located within walking distance. No glass containers or alcoholic beverages may be brought into the City Hall Courtyard.
