Two Are Enough for Centaurs Hoops
Horton and Walker account for all but five points in the 53-49 victory.
It wasn't exactly the balanced scoring coaches look for, but a win is a win and for the Culver City High School boys basketball squad any win is good this time of year.
The visiting Centaurs built a 42-30 lead through three quarters and held off a late surge to defeat Anaheim Savanna, 53-49, Friday night in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division 2A playoffs.
Guard Keilan Horton and forward Aamahd Walker scored all but five of Culver City's points. Horton finished with 29 and aded eight rebounds while Walker had 19 points, five rebounds, six steals and four assists.
