Rush Street, City Tavern Go Big for Super Bowl Sunday

Two of Culver City's hottest venues are getting into the Super Bowl spirit with some great deals for the big game.

Go big or go to Rush Street or City Tavern to watch the game on Sunday, Feb. 5. Here’s what the downtown favorites are offering to make this Super Bowl a day to remember.

City Tavern

City Tavern says it doesn’t matter whether you’re a Patriot or a Giant’s fan, everyone is a winner because the Tavern will be hosting an all day happy hour on Sunday. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. giving you an hour to settle in before kick-off.  The restaurant will feature $10 craft beer growlers (beer in a large jug-like bottle), Super Bowl meatballs and specialty Spanish chorizo pigs in a blanket.

Rush Street will have 14 flat screens for customers to watch the big game. They’ll be selling $4 Miller Draft beers and have put together a Super Bowl Mega-Menu and team-themed drink specials. Both the ground floor and upstairs lounge will be open for large and small groups alike. Doors open at 11 a.m., there will be pre-game TV coverage at 1 p.m. ahead of the 3:30 p.m. kick-off.
