Patch Picks: Watch the Super Bowl in Culver City

Growing up in my family, Sunday football was a sacred time where the men bowed their heads, blessed their food and brought it in front of the television to scream for a few hours. But for ladies and gents looking to get out on the town and scream as Green Bay takes on Pittsburgh, you're in luck: Culver City has a few locations looking to make the event worth your venture out of the house. Enjoy! 

1. Tattle Tale Room 

Known as the official in Culver City, the local favorite will be decked out for the big event. Expect a festive party, serious fans and drink specials. A word to wise Steeler fans: You may want to celebrate elsewhere.

The local darling known for will be devoted to a Super Bowl extravaganza on Sunday. Be sure to show up for a special menu and an end-of-game raffle for a free Super Bowl tab.

3. Scarlet Lady Saloon

The lounge that has the will be featuring potluck fare this Sunday in honor of the big event. There will be a raffle during halftime as well as Happy Hour prices throughout the day. Bring a dish and have some fun.

Those in the mood for alcohol only should head over to to get discounted Heineken's and drinks. The game will be on as well, of course.

5. BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

I had to throw in a local chain for good measure. Featuring raucous game noise even during unimportant matches, BJ's is always a good idea for those who want to feel like they're in the stadium. However, there isn't a special menu, so enjoy their regular eats and the game on every television in the joint.
