Join thousands of volunteers across the country as we celebrate National Public Lands Day - the nation's largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve and enhance the public lands Americans enjoy.

What: weeding, deadheading (clearing out dead plant leaves) and pruning at Fox Hills Park

Where: Fox Hills Park, Green Valley Circle & Buckingham Pkwy, Culver City (meet at park entrance on Buckingham Parkway)

Why: National Public Lands Day

Supplies: All supplies provided; trash bags, gloves and tools

What should you bring: hat, closed toe shoes, water bottle (we will provide water at all the stations for refills), your own gardening tools if you'd like

How to volunteer: Just show up and register

Participants under 18 years of age need parental consent.

NPLD engages a diverse audience of adult and youth volunteers to get to outdoors and improve their lands, whether at the grandest national park or at an urban park in their neighborhood.
