ACDG Roller Derby vs. West Coast Derby Knockouts

Roller Derby Sept. 29, 2012.  With Autumn coming, Los Angeles is finally cooling off, but the heat is still on for flat-track roller derby!

Our still undefeated Rocket Queens will be skating against Ventura’s own West Coast Derby Knockouts this September. This marks the Queens’ first match-up with the Knockouts since 2011, where the Queens prevailed with a winning score of 190-92.

In addition, our Rising Stars team will be skating in a showcase bout before the main event. The Rising Stars features our up and coming skaters in the league, some of whom will be skating in their very first bout. So bust out your finest scarlet and gold and come on down to cheer these ladies on!

ABOUT ACDG: Established in 2006, the Angel City Derby Girls are Los Angeles' only nationally ranked competitive Women's Flat Track Roller Derby League. We are a group of dedicated athletes who have come together in a grass-roots effort to organize a democratic, DIY, member-driven and operated Roller Derby League that abides by the rules and regulations of the only international governing body of Roller Derby- the

Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).
