Culver City Stays Alive in District 25 Tournament

The 10- and 11-year-olds have been mashing the baseball since an opening loss in the tournament, outscoring opponents by a 48-3 margin.

The Culver City 10- and 11-year-old All-Stars dropped their first game in the California District 25 Tournament, but continue to churn out wins in elimnination games, including an 18-3 victory over Beverly Hills on Friday at Memorial Park in Santa Monica.

The win was the third in a row for Culver City, coming after victories over North Venice and Santa Monica West. Since losing to the Ladera Little League in their opening tournament game, the Culver City All-Stars have outscored their three opponents by a 48-3 margin.

Culver City will play Malibu on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in another elimination game.
