Culver City Resident Takes First Place in Heart of the City 5K Run

Dawn Lortie was the first female to cross the finish line on April 14. The dog friendly run in downtown Los Angeles raised funds for the California Hospital Medical Center.

Culver City resident Dawn Lortie was the first female to cross the finish line at the first annual Heart of the City 5K Run/Walk on Sun. April 14.  

The dog friendly run through the heart of downtown Los Angeles, attracted more than 500 runners and raised over $65,000.  

Sponsored by California Hospital Medical Center Foundation, proceeds from the event will support California Hospital Medical Center’s 125-year tradition of providing health care to Los Angeles residents.
