Culver City Resident Places in Top 25 of Super Bowl 10K

Michael Herrera placed 25th overall in the annual Redondo Beach Super Bowl 10K run on Sunday.

More than 6,000 runners competed in this year's Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday 10K/5K Run/Walk in South Redondo Beach.

The event featured a 5K run/walk, a 10K baby buggy race and a standard 10K race at the Redondo Beach Marina.

Twenty-five Culver City residents successfully completed the 10K race, including 23-year-old Michael Herrera who placed 25th overall with a time of 00:36:59.

Sixteen Culver City residents participated in the 5K. Culver City top place getter in that race was 30-year-old Mark Lim who placed 113th with a time of 0:23:02.
