Despite 12 points and five assists from Taylor Tanita - who snatched the semi-final game from Orange Lutheran when the buzzer sounded at the last minute on Wednesday - the Culver City High School Centaurs girls basketball team lost their championship match against Murrieta Valley, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The championship game of the Southern Section CIF 2A Division took place at 3:30 p.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center.
