Cool Summer Fun at Culver City Ice Rink

Kids as young as two years old can learn how to ice skate in Mommy & Me or Daddy & Me classes, one of several programs offered by the professional staff at the rink on Sepulveda Boulevard.

At the Culver Ice Arena, there is an on-house hockey league as well as ice skating classes for every age group and experience level. But one of the best options is the Mommy & Me and Daddy & Me classes, for parents who are comfortable on the ice and their children as young as two years old.

"Parents and children can expect a fun, friendly and family atmosphere at Culver Ice Arena," said Shannon Takahashi, manager of the skating schools. "We pride ourselves on providing memorable experiences for everyone from the first-time skater to the seasoned professional."

The Mommy & Me and Daddy & Me classes run 10 weeks and include 45-minute lessons. At the end of the class, students receive a evaluation of their skills and a diploma to hang on the wall.
