Centaurs Rise to No. 5 in CIF Rankings
Culver City jumped two spots in the Southern Section's Western Division.
The CIF Southern Section office has released this week's Top 10 football rankings, and jumped from seventh to fifth in the Western Division after last Friday's .
Ocean League rival Santa Monica (3-1) stayed on the "others under consideration" list even after its 17-0 to Valencia.
St. Paul stayed in front of Mission League rival Chaminade in the No. 1 spot after edging Ayala 30-27. Chaminade stayed at No. 2 after its 29-13 victory over Mira Costa. Arroyo Grande held at No. 3, St. Francis moved up one spot to No. 4, Serra dropped to No. 6 after losing to Harbor City Narbonne of the City Section, Ventura moved up to No. 7, Dominguez remained No. 8, Dominguez dropped one spot to No. 9 and Gahr held at No. 10.

Harbor City Narbonne (1-2), which travels to Culver City for an intersectional showdown Friday, dropped one spot to No. 3 in the rankings by MaxPreps despite defeating Gardena Serra 26-20 last week.
