Aguila Named to All-CIF Volleyball Team
The senior outside hitter is the only Culver City player on the Division 4 list.
The All-CIF Southern Section boys volleyball teams were released Monday and Culver City High's has made the Division 4 squad.
Aguila, a senior outside hitter, was named to the All-Ocean League first team after leading the Centaurs to the Southern Section Division 4 semifinals, and is the only Culver City representative on the All-CIF squad. The junior outside hitter had 268 kills, 270 digs, 46 aces, 59 blocks and 18 aces this spring.
Outside hitter Charles Levy of Santa Monica was named Player of the Year and Vikings Coach Liane Sato was voted Coach of the Year after leading Samo to the section championship.

Rounding out the Division 4 team are Trevor Pye, Dane Keckin and Julian Hess of Santa Monica, Johnson Diep, Kevin Quach and Harrison Tang of San Gabriel, Jeff Nadal of Santa Fe, Danny Geber of Bishop Montgomery, Taylor Moldo of Crossroads and Ryan Manoogian of Windward.
