Who Will Be Culver City’s New School Superintendent?

With Patti Jaffe retiring on June 30, the Culver City Unified School District Board of Education will discuss a possible replacement at its June 26 meeting.

CCUSD Superintendent Patti Jaffe will officially retire on June 30, and the School Board has yet to announce her replacement.

The board will meet to discuss possible candidates in its closed session meeting on Tues. June 26, although there is no guarantee the board will make a decision at that meeting.

However, residents are invited to attend the open Board meeting at 7 p.m. on June 26, at City Hall Chambers at 7 p.m. where a decision regarding the new superintendent may or may not be announced.

Also on Tuesday night’s agenda will be a discussion of the 2012-2013 CCUSD budget; a district energy services contract; a joint-use agreement between the District and the City of Culver City and a proposed food service program price increase.
