They also helped raise money for the American Heart Association.

Harlem Globetrotters Scooter Christensen and Wun Versher picked up a jump rope and joined today with students in Culver City and as part of a fundraiser with the American Heart Association.

Students at Park Century School were able to raise $15,000 as part of the “Jump Rope For Heart” event, which was held as part of Heart Awareness Month. Wearing their famous red, white and blue uniforms, the Globetrotters also showcased their basketball skills.

Jump Rope for Heart, now in its 35th year, is designed to teach students about the importance of exercise, while allowing students to raise funds to support the American Heart Association, according to organizers.
