SkateFest at Downtown Holiday Ice Rink Benefits Culver City Education Foundation

The Downtown ice rink will hold two special fundraising skating sessions on Nov. 29 and Dec. 5 at 7 p.m., with all the proceeds benefiting CCEF projects.

Spreading holiday cheer in conjunction with the Culver City Education Foundation, The Holiday Ice Rink in Culver City is hosting two special fundraising skating sessions where 100 percent of proceeds will benefit the non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing quality educational programs for every student in the Culver City Unified School District.

The fundraising events will be held on Thurs. Nov. 29 and Wed. Dec 5 at 7 p.m. Students, teachers and the general public are all encouraged to take a spin on the ice, knowing that their outdoor recreation will help secure educational funding and resources for CCUSD. All skate sessions are one hour with general admission at $10, while kids 12 and under are $6, and skate rental is $4.

Presented by MelroseMAC, The Holiday Ice Rink is located in the trendy downtown Culver City district at 9300 Culver Blvd and open every day through January 7, 2013.
