New Science Teacher Explores the Middle School
Erica Young, a recent transplant from the Lynwood Unified School District, is excited to be teaching sixth- and eighth-graders in Culver City.
Science doesn't have to be snooze-worthy and it's certainly not in Erica Young's classroom. The lucky 6th- and 8th-grade students in her classes got to create safe balloon rockets out of Styrofoam goods this week, as well as have a lot of laughs.
