Holiday Boutique to Benefit Culver City Youth Health Center

Culver City artist and author Francia Turner Fate will donate 25 percent of the sales from her works at this Saturday’s event to the Center.

The Friends of the Culver City Youth Health Center will host an exhibit and sale of the work of Culver City resident, artist and author Francia Turner Fate, this Sat. Nov. 24.

The event will take place from 2-4 p.m. at 5502 Sawtelle Blvd. and Fate will donate 25 percent of sales to the Friends group to help support the services provided by the Health Center.

For the past 10 years Fate has donated a selection of her fine art to the Health Center's annual fundraiser.

An award-winning author and artist who has exhibited her work throughout the United States, Britain, South America and Australia, a variety of Fate’s pieces will be displayed featuring her children's books, art glass jewelry and fine art.

The Health Center is located on the campus of Culver City High School and Middle School. Free physical and mental health services are provided to children living in Culver City or attending Culver City schools. The nonprofit Center is supported through grants and donations. The Friends group serves as the fundraising arm of the Health Center.
