El Rincon Students to Honor Martin Luther King at 8th Annual Event

Four El Rincon Elementary School students are among the winners of Culver City’s Martin Luther King Student Speech Contest and will read their work on Saturday afternoon.

El Rincon Elementary School fifth-graders Omar Attaalla, Anaiya Mitchell, Laila Remy and McKayla Williams will help celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King at Culver City's 8th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration tomorrow.

The four students are among the winners of Culver City's Martin Luther King Student Speech Contest and will present their award-winning speeches at 2:10 p.m. as part of the daylong celebration.

The event, "Realizing the Dream, Living the Legacy," will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Culver City Senior Center, 4095 Overland Ave.

Maybe more to the point, where does the methane (way more powerful than CO2 as a greenhouse gas)Read More release go from the fracking process, where do the "secret"and other cancer causing chemicals go, and who pays for clean-up costs, increased healthcare costs of residents nearby, possible increased earthquake damage, etc. and where does this oil go (we can't use it--too dirty--so probably China)?
