Culver City High AVPA Music Brings Holiday Cheer

The school's Academy of Visual & Performing Arts Music department is performing during the holiday season. Check out the schedule below.

After bringing smiles to the faces of hundreds at the Downtown Culver City tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 6, the Culver City High School Academy of Visual & Performing Arts Music department still has a couple of performances left this month.

There are two concerts today (Dec. 12), capped by Friday’s annual winter concert. Be sure to catch the talented kids at the following times and venues:

  • String Ensemble – performance at the Culver City Senior Center, Wednesday, Dec. 12, 1pm
  • AVPA school-wide Assembly – Wednesday, Dec. 12
  • AVPA Winter Music Concert – Friday, Dec. 14, 7pm, Robert Frost Auditorium, admission is free – donations are appreciated!

The department is also working towards the AVPA Cabaret Night: Hooray for Hollywood!  The show will run Jan. 17-20. Look for more information online soon at www.avpa.org
