City Tavern to Launch Second Location in Downtown LA

The Culver City eatery is spreading its wings and will open a 4,000 square foot restaurant at the FIGat7th food court in the fall of 2013.

Popular Culver City restaurant City Tavern is expanding, with a new, 4,000 square-foot restaurant at the FIGat7th food court in Downtown Los Angeles, reports, DTLA Rising.

The food court – known as TASTE – will be host to what is set to become City Tavern’s flagship building.  According to DTLA Rising, the space will have a large lounge for after-work and late-night gatherings.

City Tavern Co-Founder Ken Kaufman told the website,  “During our lengthy search for a second City Tavern location, we looked for a place where we could build the same sense of community we established in Culver City. We believe FIGat7th — an urban crossroads where people live, work, and shop — is the ideal spot.”
