‘Yes on Measure Y’ Seminar Tonight at 7 p.m.

The Tellefson Park Community is sponsoring the event at the King Fahad Mosque, to encourage people to vote for Culver City’s ½ cent sales tax increase on Nov. 6.

The Tellefson Park Community is hosting a ‘Yes on Measure Y’ seminar Tuesday night, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. at the King Fahad Mosque Youth Center, at 10980 Washington Blvd.

Measure Y, which will appear on the Nov. 6 ballot, will ask residents if they agree to a ½ cent Culver City sales tax.

Vice Mayor Jeff Cooper and Councilmember Jim Clarke will attend the seminar to present the arguments in favor of Measure Y and to answer any questions.

All Culver City residents are invited to attend.

Maybe more to the point, where does the methane (way more powerful than CO2 as a greenhouse gas)Read More release go from the fracking process, where do the "secret"and other cancer causing chemicals go, and who pays for clean-up costs, increased healthcare costs of residents nearby, possible increased earthquake damage, etc. and where does this oil go (we can't use it--too dirty--so probably China)?
