Video: O'Leary's Orange, White and Green Kick-Off Campaign

Culver City's current Mayor Micheal O'Leary held his re-election kick off campaign at the Lindberg Park Stonehouse on Saturday afternoon.

Digging deep into his Irish roots, the posters for current Mayor Micheal O'Leary's re-election campaign for the April 10 City Council elections sport a prominent, bright green four-leaf clover.

O'Leary's kick-off even held Saturday afternoon at the Lindberg Park Stonehouse was festooned with orange, white and green balloons - the colors of the Irish flag.

Throughout the two and a half hour gathering, supporters wandered in and out of the building at what was a very laid-back and down-to-earth affair.

Guests were happy to munch on simple sandwiches and croissants, fruit, cheese and cupcakes as they waited to hear O'Leary speak.

O'Leary said his experience on the council to date and his strong relationships with Culver City's senate and assembly representatives stood him in good stead to be able to stand up and be heard when it comes to fighting for Culver City in Sacramento.

He also stresed how important it was for everyone to get out and vote on April 10, noting that only 42 votes stopped incumbent Scott Zeidman from being able to retain his seat in the recent .
