Public Meeting on Fracking, Friday

The Culver City City Council Oil Drilling Subcommittee, together with Assemblymember Holly J. Mitchell will hold a public meeting on hydraulic fracturing at the Veterans Memorial Building on Fri. Dec. 14 at 9:30 a.m.

The public is invited this Fri. Dec. 14 to attend and participate in a public meeting on hydraulic fracturing at the Veterans Memorial Building Auditorium, 4117 Overland Ave., Culver City, from 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

The meeting is being held by the Culver City City Council Oil Drilling Subcommittee (Mayor Andy Weissman and Councilmember Meghan Sahli-Wells) together with Assemblymember Holly J. Mitchell.

At the meeting, the public will have an opportunity to present information to the City Council Subcommittee and Assemblymember Mitchell regarding the use of hydraulic fracturing (“fracking”) in the oil well drilling process.
