City Council Focuses on Parcel B at Tonight's Meeting

The Culver City Council is looking for public input on the four potential projects presented for Parcel B—the downtown parking lot adjacent to the Culver Hotel.

Instead of a regular meeting of the Culver City Council and Redevelopment Agency Board, the council is inviting the public to come, meet the developers and comment on the potential projects for 9300 Culver Boulevard, better known as .

Numerous attempts have failed to develop what is now an to the . Earlier this month, four developers presented their visions for the space, which has been permitted (entitled) for a project with office space and retail and restaurant space.

No decisions on the project will be made at tonight's meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m. with a half hour period for members of the public to look at the presentation boards and speak with the developers. After that, the council will listen to public testimony about the project.

There will be a short business meeting at 6 p.m. for the council to address consent agenda items, said Assistant City Manager Martin Cole.
