Northbound 405 Freeway to Close at Midnight

Sepulveda Boulevard will be used as a detour.

By City News Service

Metro officials have just announced that the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway will be CLOSED between Sunset Boulevard and Skirball Center Drive beginning at midnight, reopening at 5 a.m. Wednesday, as part of the ongoing Sepulveda Pass construction project.

The closure will allow crews to re-stripe the roadway and reconfigure K-rail near the Getty Center Drive ramps.

Sepulveda Boulevard will remain open during the closure and will be used as a detour. Southbound freeway lanes will remain open.
