New Culver City Council to Be Sworn in Tonight

The swearing in ceremony for the four new Culver City council members will take place in council chambers at 7 p.m. tonight. The public is invited to attend.

Andy Weissman, Meghan Sahli-Wells, Micheal O’Leary and Jim Clarke will all be sworn in tonight as incoming City Council members.

The ceremony will take place at City Hall Council Chambers, where the four top vote getters in the April 10 elections will take their place alongside returning councilmember Jeffrey Cooper.

In addition to the swearing in of the two returning members – Weissman and O’Leary – and the two new members – Sahli-Wells and Clarke – the new mayor and vice mayor will also be elected.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony and watch the incoming council members take the oath of office at 7 p.m.

The final ballots from the April 10 election will also be presented to the council this evening.
