New Census Data for Culver City To Be Released Today

Data from the 2010 census is being released today, with new information on Culver City

Culver City residents will get a numeric picture of their city today as the U.S. Census Bureau releases more detailed information from the count it did a year ago as part of the census done in this country every 10 years.

The Census Bureau did release state population figures in December 2010 that indicate the population of California has grown by 10 percent during the last decade, from 33.9 million residents in 2000 to 37.3 million in 2010. Though California’s growth rate by percentage makes it the 20th fastest growing state in the country, it remains the most populous state.
