League of Women Voters Culver City Unit to Host Impartial Presentation of Nov. 6 Statewide Ballot Propositions

The event will take place Tues. Oct. 16 at the Julian Dixon Library at noon.

The Secretary of State’s Voter Information Guide for the presidential election is 144 pages long, devoted mostly to the 11 statewide propositions that will be on the Nov. 6 ballot.

In an effort to help voters understand the various measures, the League of Women Voters Culver City Unit is devoting its Tues. Oct. 16 meeting to an impartial presentation (aka ‘Pros AND Cons’) on the ballot measures. Fran Lapides, Voter Service Director of LWV Los Angeles, will be the guest speaker.

Members will gather in the Community Room of Culver City Julian Dixon Public Library at 11:30 a.m. for a brown-bag lunch, sociability, and a bit of business. Program starts promptly at noon and should be done by 1:30 p.m. If you can’t stay for the whole thing, feel free to leave early.
