I plan to vote "no" on Measure Y. The cronyism that allowed the 3-story apartment building going up on Lafayette Pl is an example of collusion between developers and city hall. The city contributed development funds to this project in the false name of low cost housing, and now, the third floor windows of this crowded monstrosity will allow the residents to invade the privacy of their neighbors.

A peek at a few,(of many) inconvenient facts. The CITY contributed nothing. PUBLIC MONEY is what was doled out, by, so-called, Representatives. Only the tip of the iceberg. Since 2010: While the Redevelopment Agency scam has been shut down by Sacramento, these local Representatives have connived to keep the previous Redevelopment gang on the payroll, at their same very large payrates (about $2,000,000) a year) : While also holding frantic weekend meetings inorder to put the residents into $60,000,000. more debt to support existing Redevelopment boondoggles. So,,,, the residents are being herded into paying more regressive tax inorder to keep cronies on the payroll , and fund more "business as usual".. Thanks a bunch, ... but count me out of this one ! .

I'm wondering why Measure Y was not on my ballot this morning? It was on my sample ballot (and I would have voted Yes if it was on the actual ballot).

Really? It wasn't there? You sure you didn't miss it? You are voting in Culver City, yes?
