Culver City Democratic Club Hosts Day of Action Saturday

Assemblymember Holly Mitchell and Congressman Henry Waxman will be among the attendees at the event that will include a barbeque, rally and student performances.

As part of the Democratic Party of California’s agenda, the Culver City Democratic Club is hosting a ‘Last Day of Action’ ahead of the Nov. 6 election, this Sat. Oct. 27 at its headquarters at 3916 S. Sepulveda Blvd. at 11 a.m.

The day will include student performances, a phone bank mobilization as well as a barbeque and Assemblymember Holly Mitchell (D-Culver City) and Congressman Henry Waxman (D-Los Angeles) will also attend the event.

According to an official release from the Culver City Democratic Club, its offices have called over 80,000 Democratic voters in Los Angeles to date, and is calling on members to come out again on Saturday for just one hour to make more calls, and keep the momentum going.
