Culver City 7-Eleven Hearing Canceled

The Planning Commission's hearing on the proposed construction of a 7-Eleven store scheduled to take place on April 25 will now be rescheduled for some time in May according to City staff.

In what has become a protracted process, an additional hearing regarding an Administrative Site Review for a proposed 7-Eleven convenience store at 4436 Sepulveda Blvd., has been canceled.

The Planning Commission was set to hear from the developer on April 25, regarding modifications to its proposal to build a one-story retail building with 2,500 square feet of floor area and 12 parking spaces.

the Planning Commission asked the applicant revisit the planning and layout of the structure including landscaping, architecture, building materials and colors. The April 25 meeting was supposed to be an opportunity for the commission to look at those changes.

Associate Planner Joshua Williams told Patch in an email that 7-Eleven is still working with City staff to refine the architecture of the building as per the Planning Commission’s request.  He added that because the plans won’t be ready in time for the April 25 meeting, the hearing would need to be rescheduled for some time in May.

The City will send out a notice as soon as a new date is determined.
