City Council to Discuss Residential Parking Changes

The Culver City City Council will discuss enhancements and changes to the parking permit program at its Sept. 23 meeting.

The Culver City City Council next Monday will discuss new enhancements and changes tot he Cuvler City residential parking permit program.

According to City Manager John Nachbar's bi-weekly report, the following changes and topics will be discussed at next Monday's meeting:

  • "Adoption of 12 multi-block parking permit districts citywide with defined boundaries."
  • "Inclusion of existing single-block districts into one of the 12 multi-block districts."
  • "Authorization for the City Engineer to make changes to some of the existing parking time limits and the hours of parking restrictions to improve uniformity within the districts and to improve parking enforcement and management of the Districts."
  • "Residents with permits (and their visitors) will be able to park on any parking restricted street within their District."

Monday's City Council meeting will take place beginning at 7 p.m. at the Culver City City Hall council chambers, 9770 Culver Boulevard. All are welcome to attend.
