Assemblymember Holly Mitchell Hosts Free Screening of 'Food, Inc.'

The 2008 documentary explores where our food really comes from. Mitchell will host the event followed by a discussion this Thurs. Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m. in Culver City.

47th District Assemblymember Holly Mitchell (D-Culver City), together with the Physicians for Social Responsibility Los Angeles, will host a screening of the 2008 documentary Food, Inc. followed by a discussion on Thurs. Nov. 1 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Agape International Spiritual Center, 5700 Buckingham Pkwy. Culver City.

Food, Inc. explores where the food we purchase at the grocery store truly comes from and Mitchell says the discussion following the screening will be an opportunity for constituents ideas based on the move to hopefully be incorporated into her new legislative agenda for 2013.
