Applications for New Tilden Terrace Apartments Open March 8

The Tilden Terrace project offers 33 affordable housing units for low and moderate-income families. Applications are available March 8 through March 15.

It seems to have taken forever, but the Tilden Terrace affordable housing project is finally ready to accept applications for its 33 units, which are open to low and moderate-income families.

The building – which is smoke free and pet free - is slated to open in July this year.

Applications will be open for a week starting Fri. March 8 through Fri. March 15 at the . Pick up an application between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

*The project offers two 1-bedroom units; 19 two-bedroom units and 12 three-bedroom units and the maximum monthly rents are:

  • 1 bedroom - $596
  • 2 bedrooms - $901
  • 3 bedroms - $1036

*In order to qualify for one of the apartments the maximum income limits are as follows:

  • 1 person - $23,200
  • 2 people - $33,150
  • 3 people - $37,300
  • 4 people – $41,400
  • 5 people – $44,750
  • 6 people – $48,050
  • 7 people - $51,350

*Income limits and rents are subject to change in strict accordance with program guidelines.

Tilden Terrace also accepts Section 8 vouchers.
