Woman Allegedly Stabs Man Multiple Times Outside Bar

She's been arrested on the suspicion of attempted murder.

A 23-year-old woman inflicted multiple stab wounds on a man in his 20s during an altercation outside a bar in the Palms district of Los Angeles today and was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, authorities said.

The man was hospitalized in stable condition after being stabbed in the side and the back around 1:30 a.m., Los Angeles police Sgt. Steve Nassief said.

Nassief said the confrontation escalated from an argument to a physical altercation near a side entrance to the Carbon Bar in the 9300 block of Venice Boulevard west of Culver City.

The suspect was held by security staff at the bar, Nassief said, and was later booked for attempted murder.

The source of the altercation was not immediately revealed.
