A man accused of sexually assaulting an employee during an armed robbery at a Nordstrom Rack in Westchester was ordered today to stand trial, along with two other men who allegedly took part in the heist.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge M.L. Villar de Longoria found sufficient evidence to require Raymond Sherman Jr., 35, to proceed to trial on one count each of forcible oral copulation, kidnapping to commit another crime and assault with a deadly weapon, along with two counts of forcible rape and 14 counts of second-degree robbery.

The criminal complaint alleges that Sherman -- who was arrested in Arizona -- personally used a handgun during the commission of the Jan. 10 crime.

Also ordered to stand trial were Troy Marsay Hammock, 29, and Everett Oneal Allen, 25, who are charged with one count each of assault with a deadly weapon with a knife on one of the employees and 14 counts each of second-degree robbery involving all 14 workers.

Meanwhile, two women -- Rochelle Monique Sherman, 34, and Paula Roneshia Bradley, 30 -- were bound over for trial on one count each of being an accessory after the fact. Rochelle Sherman was described earlier by Deputy District Attorney Frank Santoro as Raymond Sherman's sister.

The five are due back in court for arraignment Sept. 18.

The robbery was reported just after 10 p.m. Jan. 10 by a spouse of one of the employees in the clothing store at the Promenade at Howard Hughes Center.

SWAT officers from the Los Angeles Police Department led the workers to safety. One of the employees had been sexually assaulted, police said.

A vehicle that may have been used by the suspects to flee the shopping center was later located near Washington Boulevard and Globe Avenue in Culver City, authorities said. Some items possibly related to the store were recovered, authorities said.

The Promenade is an outdoor shopping center with stores, eateries, a miniature golf course and a cinema multiplex. The Nordstrom Rack store -- a clearance outlet for the upscale department store -- is on the second floor of the complex.
