A bomb squad was sent to an apartment building in the Palms area of Los Angeles today on a report of a suspicious item, authorities said.
Law enforcement personnel were sent to the 3800 block of Overland Ave. about 6:30 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
A evacuation of the building was ordered, and traffic was routed away
from the area while an investigation was conducted.
The Culver City Police Department says the bomb squad investigation
does not involve their city.
