Recognize This Guy? Culver City Police Release Composite of Man Who Tried to Abduct Girl

The man was described as white or Hispanic, possibly in his 30s, with a goatee. He was driving a green Ford Taurus.

Culver City police Thursday released a composite sketch of a man suspected of trying to abduct a girl.

The girl, a student at Culver City Middle School, told police she was walking in the area of Farragut Drive, east of Overland Avenue, about 2:50 p.m. Tuesday when a green Ford Taurus pulled up to her and the driver asked her name, police said.

"He then leaned over, opened the passenger side door, and told her to get into the vehicle," police said. "Fearing for her safety, the girl ran west towards Overland Avenue, and then reported the incident to a Culver City Teen Center employee."

The man was described as white or Hispanic, possibly in his 30s, with a goatee. He was driving a green Ford Taurus.

Anyone with more information was urged to call Culver City police Lt. Emery Eccles at (310) 253-6258.

This is the same description of the man (and same car) who tried to lure my son into his car three years ago right in front of our house on Vinton Ave near Farragut. This man came three times and parked out of the range of sight front my front window, near the front of my home. Please, let's all keep an eye out and get this guy! Kelly Clark
