Police Release Video of Suspects Released in Jan. 28 Shooting Outside Nightclub

The city offers a $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

   Police today released video of two men sought as suspects in a Jan. 28 shooting at a downtown Los Angeles nightclub that left one man dead and three others wounded.
   A $50,000 reward is offered by the city for information leading to an
arrest and a conviction in the killing, which occurred about 2:45 a.m. that

Saturday in the 1000 block of South Hill Street.
   Fernando Hernandez, 23, of Culver City, died from a bullet wound to the
head outside Club Mayan. The other men have recovered, police said.
   Detectives questioned witnesses and reviewed video from cameras in the
area.
   "We've narrowed down the investigation to two men seen walking in a
video with two women in front of the Mayan nightclub on Hill Street,'' LAPD
Detective Thayer Lake said. "We need someone to come forward and tell us who these two men are.''
   The reward was offered by the Los Angeles City Council. Anyone with more
information on the case was urged to call Detective Lake at (213) 972-1254;
or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.

This is a clear warning about what will happen to our aging water and sewer infrastructure, if theRead More city allows frackers to drill under our homes. The city of Westminster in OC last week denied a drilling permit for exactly this reason. It's time for citizens to let their council members know their thoughts on this topic. Council is concerned about a lawsuit if they stop fracking. The cost of a lawsuit pales next to the cost of replacing our infrastructure. Paid by taxpayers. Thus far frackers have never operated in such a densely populated area. In rural areas, there isn't nearly as much infrastructure.
