Police Blotter: A Missing Caddy and a Hit and Run

This week's crime roundup includes someone who was hit from the year and a missing Cadillac.

Keep on reading for a recap of crimes, as told to the Culver City Police Department.

A hit and run 

On June 22 at 6:24 a.m., officers went to the area of Washington Boulevard and Albright Avenue regarding a hit and run traffic collision.  The officers met with the victim who told the officers that he was driving and believed his vehicle had a flat tire. He then pulled over to check. He was out of his vehicle when an unknown silver vehicle hit his car. The suspect then fled the location.

My things are missing

On June 22 at 12:06 p.m., officers went to the 4300 block of Motor Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them that he secured his residence at about 10:15 a.m. The nanny arrived around 12 p.m. and saw that the front door was open. Someone had removed property and then fled the location.

A missing Caddy

On June 22 at 8:45 p.m., officers went to the 13400 Washington Boulevard regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim, who told them that she parked and locked her 2009 Cadillac at 6:55 p.m. and when she returned at 8:40, her vehicle was missing.

Commercial Burglary:

On June 23 at 10:30 a.m., officers went to the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim, who told them that another employee had secured the business the night before at 9:45 p.m. and he arrived at 10:15 a.m. and discovered property was missing. Someone had broken into several locked cabinets, removed the property and fled the location.

A broken window

On June 24 at 8:40 a.m., a victim called the police department to report vandalism to her business which is located in the 5400 block of Sepulveda Boulevard. The victim said she secured her business at 9:15 p.m. on June 24, and when she returned the next morning, someone broke the front window to her business.
