National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The event will take place on Sat. April 27 in front of the Culver City Police Department from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Culver City Police Department in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency is hosting a drop off point for the 6th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Sat. April 27 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Prescription drugs can be dropped off – no questions asked – at the Culver City Police Department at 4040 Dusquesne Ave.

The purpose of the day is to provide a venue for those who want to dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs. All you have to do is drive by and drop them off, no questions asked.

According to a release issued by the DEA, in the five previous Take-Back events, DEA in conjunction with state, local, and tribal law enforcement partners collected more than 2 million pounds (1,018 tons) of prescription medications.
